Jim Pascual Agustin.
Born in 1969 in the Philippines. Grew up in rural Marikina, on the outskirts of Manila. Attended public primary school. Entered Jesuit-run private high school and university through scholarship grants. Moved to Cape Town, South Africa in 1994 where he lives with his wife and twin daughters. Two books published Beneath an Angry Star (Anvil 1992) and Salimbayan (Sipat 1994).
